To support our mission to inspire our youth through environmental experiences, CoreShark H2O created an internship program.
This program allows a student to gain first-hand experiences working in the real world, developing and refining their skills as they explore a career path in the environmental field. It also provides a great opportunity to network with other professionals and organizations.
The skill-sets we look for, but not limited to, are in the creative arts, marketing, social media, web design, creative writing and a basic knowledge of a variety of environmental issues pertaining to the Chesapeake Bay and the watershed.
Our program seeks enthusiastic individuals who are seniors in high school and plan to continue their education after graduation or individuals who are currently continuing their education at an accredited institution/college or trade school. The commitment time frame generally runs from September to June for high school students and is flexible for higher education students.
